Are you ready to explore how local actions shape global realities? Join us in Llinars del Vallès (Barcelona, Spain) for an international Erasmus+ youth exchange that brings together art, ecology, and social reflection.
Dates: 20–27 May 2026
Location: Llinars del Vallès, Barcelona, Spain
Deadline: 20.02.2026
LAGI – Local Action, Global Impact is a youth exchange under the Erasmus+ programme that brings together 46 young people from six different countries to reflect on environmental and social challenges through a creative, site-sensitive, and collaborative process.
Through non-formal education, performing arts, embodied practices, and collective creation we will explore the interconnected relationships between humans, nature, and global systems—and how our everyday choices resonate far beyond our local contexts.
The project invites participants to explore the relationship between body, territory, and environment, and to reflect on themes such as interdependence, coexistence between human and more-than-human beings, unequal global relationships, and different ways of inhabiting the land. By connecting personal experiences with broader ecological and social processes, the exchange encourages critical reflection and collective imagination for more sustainable futures.
The creative process will be guided by values of care, respect, empathy, collaboration, and critical reflection. Rather than offering fixed answers, the artistic outcomes aim to open questions, provoke dialogue, and invite reflection on our shared responsibility toward the planet and each other.
Through this experience, you will:
-
Explore the connection between local actions and global ecological and social processes
-
Reflect on humanity’s relationship with nature and other-than-human beings
-
Use artistic and embodied tools to express social and environmental questions
-
Develop intercultural collaboration and collective creativity
-
Strengthen awareness of sustainability, coexistence, and environmental justice
The goals of the project are to:
-
Encourage young people to reflect on environmental and social challenges from a local–global perspective
-
Foster awareness of interdependence between individuals, communities, and ecosystems
-
Promote creative, embodied, and collaborative learning through the arts
-
Support critical thinking, empathy, and responsibility toward the planet
-
Empower young people to express complex realities through artistic practices
