Location: Ananda Kalyani, Portugal
Deadline: 20.04.2026
“Close Your Eyes – Open Your Mind” is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange focused on mental well-being, self-awareness and holistic lifestyles. The project invites young people from different countries to explore how we can improve our inner balance and quality of life through simple daily practices.
This Youth Exchange aims to create a space where young people can slow down, reconnect with themselves and explore mental well-being, mindfulness and personal development in a supportive and intercultural environment.
During this international project, participants will explore topics such as self-awareness, emotional balance and holistic lifestyles through mindfulness practices, reflection activities, creative expression and non-formal education methods.
Participants do not need previous experience in mindfulness or similar practices – motivation, openness and willingness to engage in the process are more important.
Participants will take part in a variety of engaging activities, including:
- Yoga and meditation sessions to relax, reconnect and build inner awareness
- Activities in nature, including time by a river to unwind and enjoy the surroundings
- Music, fun and intercultural exchange with participants from different countries
- Ice-breakers, cooperative games and team-building activities
- Problem-solving tasks and group challenges to strengthen communication and collaboration skills
The goals of the project are to:
- Promote mental well-being and emotional balance
- Encourage self-awareness and personal growth
- Introduce mindfulness practices (yoga, meditation)
- Foster intercultural learning and connection
- Support participants to apply healthy habits in daily life
All accommodation and food costs are covered by the Erasmus+ program. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to 309€
We charge a participation fee of €50!
