If learning about cultural diversity and different approaches to evaluating culture through tradition and dance sounds interesting you, then you should definitely apply to this youth exchange!
Dates: 15-24 September, 2021
Location: Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Lower Saxony, Germany
“United in Dance” is going to be a youth exchange which will include 35 young people and 8 group leaders from 7 different countries: Italy, Spain, Greece, Romania, Lithuania, North Macedonia and Germany.
The goals of the project are:
- Creating a space for sharing ideas, views and opinions with young people from different cultures
- Learning about cultural diversity and different approaches to evaluating culture through traditions and dance
- Encouraging and practicing intercultural dialogue and understanding of intercultural relations
- Uniting young people through research and learning about diversity and similarities
- Giving space to young people for dialogue with young people from different cultural backgrounds
- Informing about non formal learning opportunities through the Erasmus + and ESC programs
All costs for accommodation and food are covered by the Erasmus + programs. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to € 180 for participants from Germany. We charge a € 40 participation fee!

Covid-19
Everybody participating on the exchange will take a PCR test before arriving to the venue, and the hygiene rules in the venue will follow the local laws at the time. You will be updated on the rules well in time before the exchange.
You can apply below if:
- You are a resident of Germany
- You are 18-30 years old
- You are interested in topics of intercultural dialogue, intercultural learning and/or dance
- You are willing to be a part of multi cultural group
- You are willing to show initiative for learning new dances, working with other young people
- Are motivated to give your best when speaking English, you do not have to be fluent!
