“MIND – Mental Health Awareness in Youth Work” is a Training Course that will bring together youth workers from different European countries to explore practical tools rooted in mindfulness, integration, non-discrimination and diversity.
No prior mental health experience is needed – just your motivation and commitment to youth work!
The goals of the project are:
- Master MIND principles in youth work contexts
- Design and evaluate MIND programs with dissemination strategies
- Exchange best practices and develop new non-formal methods/digital tools
- Create open-source resources to strengthen organizational capacities
- Promote European citizenship, active participation, and employability
Anticipated outcomes: Refreshed MIND methodologies, digital tools, best practice exchange, enhanced youth worker skills, pan-European partnerships, and heightened EU opportunity awareness – especially in rural areas.
All costs for accommodation and food are covered by the Erasmus+ program. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to €309 (according to Erasmus+ distance bands).
Participation fee: FREE (covered by the MIND project).

- Day 1 (25 June): Opening, team & trust building
- Day 2 (26 June): Team & trust building, MIND topics & sharing of good practices
- Day 3 (27 June): Advanced MIND methods & practices, content creation
- Day 4 (28 June): Advanced MIND methods & practices, dissemination activities
- Day 5 (29 June): Training course evaluation, castle visit to Vranov nad Dyjí, presentation of dissemination activities
Methods you will experience during this training course will include buddy reflections, role-plays, case studies, nature walks, expert workshops, and collaborative resource creation.
Accommodation
We will be accommodated in Vranováček, Vranov nad Dyjí, Czech Republic.
You can apply below if:
- You are a resident of Germany
- You are 18 years old or older
- You work directly with young people
- You are interested in gaining practical mental health tools for your daily youth work
- You are open to non-formal methods (games, walks, role-plays, experiential learning)
- Your English level allows you to actively participate
- You can commit to full attendance and follow-up activities after the training
Your young people will directly benefit from the workshops you implement after the course, and your colleagues will gain access to the new tools and resources you bring back.
