I am Joan Fabregat, and I come from Spain (Valencia). I found myself working on my passion, in a youth center. But I saw myself in an endless routine, when I received the information, I didn’t even think about it. I started the volunteer project in April, and during these months I have not stopped doing things.
I am in two youth centers, where I help teenagers to do activities such as soccer, board games, music and much more. We also plan tournaments, special days and excursions.
During these 4-5 months I have learned to be more independent, punctual, understand teenagers better, to travel and get around with public transport, to meet people from countries I had not yet met, and many more things that I am learning every day…
I firmly believe that this experience is determining a better future, due to all the knowledge and skills that I am acquiring. Now I am more open to meeting new people, culture and traditions.
I would 100% recommend the project, because it is not only an experience, it is living 1 year learning every day, with daily support and with many adventures.
I wait for you in Bremen 😉
