Green City Builders is a youth exchange under the Erasmus+ program that brings together 36 young people from Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, Portugal, Romania, and Spain to explore sustainability in urban environments. This project will give you the opportunity to understand how environmental, social, and economic sustainability are interconnected—and how these ideas can shape the future of our cities.
Through interactive workshops, group discussions, outdoor actions, and a beach clean-up initiative, participants will reflect on their daily habits, explore practical solutions to urban challenges, and engage in collaborative learning with peers from across Europe.
Through non-formal education, experiential learning, and international teamwork, you will:

The goals of the project are to:

All accommodation and food costs are covered by the Erasmus+ program. Travel costs will be reimbursed up to a certain limit, depending on the distance between your hometown and the venue, based on Erasmus+ guidelines.
We charge a participation fee of €50!

Accommodation
The exchange will take place at La Lanterna Hostel in Agropoli, in the province of Salerno (Campania), just a 5-minute walk from the sea and no more than 10 minutes from the city center.
Participants will stay in shared rooms and are expected to contribute to the upkeep of the venue. Meals will be provided on-site, and the project will follow green event practices—no printed materials will be used, so please bring your own digital device to record information.

You are motivated to explore youth work and active citizenship

You are able and committed to attend all activities and participate in follow-up actions

You can communicate in basic English—fluency is not required, but you should be able to engage
